Hand crafted in Fukuoka and Mie prefectures, this traditional ceremonial Hon Gyokuro is grown high in misty mountain air and shaded under rice - straw for three weeks before harvest. Expect a round, buttery finish with hints of sweet corn and muscat, layered with deep umami. This tea offers sumptuous flavour and a serene, lingering mouthfeel.
Use 1 tsp per cup or 1 rounded tsp per person for a teapot. Pour freshly boiled spring water, cooled to 60-70C, over the leaves and infuse for 1-2 minutes.green tea
