Traditional green tea offers a wide range of flavour and character, from fresh grassy sencha and mellow kukicha to the deep umami of shaded gyokuro. This collection brings together classic teas from Japan and China, including roasted rice blends, fragrant jasmine teas, stone-ground matcha and organic green teas.
Genmaicha Japan and Genmaicha Matcha combine green tea with toasted brown rice for a warm, nutty cup. Genmaicha Matcha adds matcha powder for extra colour and depth.
Gyokuro Kabuse and Hon Gyokuro are shade-grown Japanese green teas with rich umami, gentle sweetness and a silky mouthfeel. For a fresher and lighter cup, try Japan Sencha or Kukicha, a mellow tea made mainly from the stems and stalks of sencha.
Japan Matcha and Japan Matcha Aichi offer vibrant green colour, savoury umami and a smooth finish. Enjoy them whisked traditionally with water or prepared as a matcha latte.
Lung Ching, also known as Dragon Well tea, is a pan-roasted green tea with fresh aroma and soft nutty flavour. Gunpowder Organic is a BioGro certified green tea with distinctive round leaves and a robust, slightly smoky character.
Sencha Organic offers a fresh, grassy cup with a naturally sweet aftertaste. China Matcha is a vibrant stone-ground matcha from China, while China Gyokuro is a shade-grown green tea from Zhejiang made using traditional Japanese techniques.
High Grade Jasmine is a delicate Chinese green tea with slender leaves, silver tips and a sweet floral character. Jasmine Dragon Pearls are hand-rolled green tea pearls scented with fresh jasmine blossoms for an aromatic and visually distinctive brew.
Iron Goddess of Mercy, also known as Tie Guan Yin, is a traditional Chinese oolong rather than a green tea. It is included here for tea drinkers who enjoy floral, roasted and gently complex Chinese tea styles.
