Jasmine Tea Truffles
Made with High Grade Jasmine Tea
Rich, velvety and impossibly elegant, these truffles carry the delicate floral notes of our High Grade Jasmine in every bite. A tea lover's dream wrapped in chocolate.
Ingredients
- 350g baker's semi-sweet chocolate
- 225g cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups icing sugar
- 1½ tsp brewed High Grade Jasmine Tea
- 1 Tbsp finely ground High Grade Jasmine Tea
- 1 Tbsp ground High Grade Jasmine Tea + 2 Tbsp cocoa (for rolling)
Method
- Melt chocolate in a microwavable dish on HIGH for 3–4 minutes, stirring after each minute, until almost melted. Remove from microwave and stir until completely smooth.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add icing sugar, beating until well blended.
- Add melted chocolate, 1 Tbsp ground jasmine tea, and the brewed jasmine tea. Mix well.
- Refrigerate for about 1 hour until firm.
- Shape into 1-inch balls.
- Mix 1 Tbsp ground High Grade Jasmine with 2 Tbsp cocoa in a small bowl. Roll each truffle in the mixture to coat.
- Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
