Teas & Pesticides

Our teas that are Certified Organic means that all growers and organisations in the supply chain are certified organic and will have no pesticides used at any stage of the process. From tea garden to cup.  But, for all of our non-organic teas (such as Rose Buds and Rose Petals), they must meet maximum pesticide residue limits.  Just because a tea is not promoted as organic doesn’t necessarily mean that pesticides have been used, they may have been but we simply don't know. All our teas and infusions either meet the NZ or EU Regulations, of which there is a Maximum pesticide residue limit that must be met.
